INNOSENSE

Individually, they are known as Mandy Ashford, Nikki DeLoach,
Danay Ferrer, Veronica Finn and Jenny Morris. Together,
they are Innosense, a high-energy pop outfit started over
two years ago by DeLoach and fellow New Mickey Mouse Club
member Britney Spears.

But Innosense's silver-lined pedigree doesn't stop with the
Queen of Teen. In fact, they are somewhat of a sister band
to pop superstars *NSYNC. Lynn Harless, the mother of
*NSYNC's Justin Timberlake, was instrumental in putting
Innosense together. Ferrer went to high school with
*NSYNC's Joey Fatone, with whom she starred in an early
production of West Side Story. Ashford was a classmate of
*NSYNC's Lance Bass, and shared a vocal coach with both
Bass and Timberlake. Morris met DeLoach in L.A. when the
two were acting and she successfully auditioned for a slot.

Armed with two songs penned by superstar hitmaker Diane
Warren, Innosense's debut draws from a wide range of
styles. Elements of hip-hop, R&B, Euro-pop, house and new
wave provide a dance-oriented backdrop for catchy melodies
and layered harmonies. From the pop-rap stylings of "Ride"
to the smooth urban sound of "Go Baby Go," the album
benefits from the participation of several top-notch
producers, including Guy Roche (*NSYNC, Celine Dion,
Christina Aguilera) and the Full Force production team
(Backstreet Boys, James Brown). Finn, who was recruited when
Spears went solo, says that one of the goals of Innosense
is "to encourage kids to have fun and be
themselves...everyone is beautiful in their own way."
